Brigit Marx
Double Masters degree in Business Administration (Germany) and Commerce (Australia)
Majors in Finance, Business and Social Psychology, Marketing and Tourism
16-year career in publishing, marketing and tourism
2004 - Arrival in Australia
Positions at Tourism Australia as well as the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (Sydney Royal Easter Show / Sydney Showground)
2010 - Changed profession: re-trained as a pastry chef to pursue love for pastries & bread
Started Sugarplum Bakery business with focus on High Teas, Corporate Lunches and Waffle Events
2012 - Health-scare changed focus from baking cakes (with sugar) to teaching artisan bread techniques in person and on Zoom
Awarded bronze, silver and gold medals at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show Professional Baking competitions
2016 - Joined the German Consulate part time as a Consular Customer Service Consultant and Case Manager for visa applications, speaking German (and French).
Current focus: November 2020 - Established new venture ‘BetterBreads' with SuperBread No. 1 - a new type of seed & nut bread that’s not only delicious but good for you with healthy fats, high fibre, low carb and no preservatives.
Sales increased from 3 loaves per week to 100 loaves per week within 6 months.

Pete Marzec
Dr Peter Marzec is an internationally recognised expert and author in process and business transformation. He has 15+ years experience in ASX100 firms and top tier consulting in Australia, Malaysia, UK and China with wealth of knowledge in financial services, manufacturing, mining, agri-business, and higher education.
To back up this experience, Pete holds a PhD in process improvement, a Masters in Operations Management, an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a Six Sigma Black belt and accredited trainer from the Lean Enterprise Research Centre.
Pete has received global recognition for his research having been awarded the Emerald Publishing Outstanding Doctoral Research Award and 2017 Shingo Research Prize in Operational Excellence. He is well published on Process Improvement, Entrepreneurship, Organisational learning and Knowledge Management, and has lectured on Lean Manufacturing, Statistics, Quantitative methods, Operations Management and Marketing.
