Filimone is a Kiwi/Tongan who has been living in Australia since 1999. He started in the lower grades for the Auckland Warriors, before joining the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 1999. He played there through to 2004. After that he played for the London Broncos in the Super League for two seasons.

About the event
Filimone is a Kiwi/Tongan who has been living in Australia since 1999. He started in the lower grades for the Auckland Warriors, before joining the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 1999. He played there through to 2004. After that he played for the London Broncos in the Super League for two seasons before having a career-ending injury at just 25 years of age.
Since then he has been working in the Fitness Industry as well as working in Christian Ministry, after completing a Theological Degree at Moore Theological College. He is currently the Missions and Youth pastor at Living Water Community Church working primarily with First Nations people.
He is married to Lijana Lolohea and together they have three young children; Eve, Keanu and Benjamin.
